Your Running Start, Ready When You Are.

A gap exists for small and mid-size businesses that are competing against organizations with entire research teams, content departments, and training budgets. That gap is real — and it shows up in the decisions you make, the content you publish, and how well your team keeps pace with the tools shaping your industry.
Woods Intelligence Services was built to close that gap. Whether that means building your team's confidence with AI tools, delivering recurring intelligence so you're never caught off guard, or creating the content that puts your voice in front of the right audience — we handle the groundwork so you can focus on your clients. We step in at the beginning to handle training, content creation and monitoring, so you're never starting from zero.

WIS operates across three service tracks: AI Skills Training, an in-person workshop series helping non-technical employees and their managers get genuinely capable with AI tools in their actual work; Written Content Creation, which helps businesses build content that ranks and reads well; and Regulatory Intelligence Briefs, a human-in-the-loop service that synthesizes government and industry updates into near-publish-ready briefs for boutique advisory firms that need to stay current without drowning in source material.

Actionable. Every deliverable — whether it's a trained team ready to apply new skills, a published post building your visibility, or a recurring brief with next steps attached — is designed to produce immediate output, not just awareness.
Hands-on. We work in your world, not a generic one. Training uses your real tools and real work. Content is written in your voice for your audience. Reports are built around your industry.
Efficient. We handle the prep — the curriculum, the writing, the monitoring — so you can spend your time on clients, not groundwork.
Consistent. Structured training sessions, regular content, and recurring reports — all delivered on schedule, every time.
Made for SMBs. We exist to give smaller teams an edge that used to belong only to the big players.

Micah brings a background in data science, product management, software engineering, and general risk management — holding a Master's in Statistics from UC Irvine, a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Georgia Southern, a Georgia P&C insurance license, and an ISC2 CC cybersecurity certification. That comfort with risk and uncertainty extends beyond the office: he's earned his EMT license, fought fires in the deserts of Nevada, logged over 80 hang gliding flights, and is a certified hang gliding instructor. Before founding WIS, he worked across data science and product engineering roles in healthcare and insurance.
Outside of work, he has spent a couple of years doing improv comedy in Los Angeles, including several stage shows. In his downtime he enjoys poker, chess, and a steady diet of thrillers and sci-fi on screen. He lives in coastal Georgia with his cat Purple, who has been his most loyal — if least enthusiastic — companion since 2012.
